An audit is how the insurance carrier justifies the actual payroll & sales that you have used during the policy period. Your policies are based on estimated sales & payroll at the beginning of the policy term and you need to justify those #’s with your 940’s, 941’s tax forms etc. at the end of the policy term. It is NOT an IRS audit.
